Heyya!! Nice to see you ppl leaving funny comments..thanks! Oh well, I have not made up my mind whether to stay or to leave as I've not received the letter..the letter that may change my life. I heard that I'll be receiving it tomorrow and I certainly hope it brings good news.
Had bought another new gadget from ADEX (dive exhibition).. the olympus u700 underwater digicam! Can't wait to try it out..Been procrastinating for a long time due to risk of flooding. But I'm willing to take the risk this time..an over $700 stake... just to capture the life underwater.
I managed to hop on the plane to phuket the following day. It was a 4D3N F&E package at the Blue Marine resort. It was a fabulous resort with a fantastic view of the sea and a spacious room. It was more of a relaxing trip for me which I went without much read-ups and planning.
What is more to life than lying on the beach chair eating burger with fries, calamari and tom yum soup while sunbathing .. at patong beach..followed by a nice nap and a
dip in the sea...The waves were relatively strong...can't imagine what happened during the tsunami disaster...
However, everything seemed to be in place, up and running with all the new buildings and resorts called for a brand new start.
Took up a daytrip to Phi Phi
island and had a lot of
snorkelling...well well..it's just
not a habit for a person who
dives to be satisfied with
viewing the marine life
from the surface....you just can't wait to sink. The sun gave
me a good scorch, left me with shoulders that are too
painful to carry my bag.
Now I'm back planning my upcoming dive trip ahead with 9 other people...back to Sipadan with my new camera!
